Month One down of 2017...how was it?

How was your first month of 2017?

Mines was wonderful! I started my workout routine on the kinect for xbox called UFC. I have done it before baby and stuck to it, than done it after baby but it was on and off now I am one month in
..yes one month. And let me tell you I feel great, I feel like it's now apart of my daily routine and it's a must for me to do. I did miss two days...one day because we got home so late from a little party, than the other day I got the day mix up. I also have lost a few pounds not a lot but a few, and I'm good with that because each day and month as I continue I will continue to drop my weight. Let's see what else we celebrated my mother in law birthday at the downtown aquarium, my son got ride to the train, saw sharks, and ride the carousel. We also had our football team after having a wonderful season, went into to the playoff game and lost by three points. My boys put on a good fight! After a great season and having to win some, and lose some than next season will be another great one. As well as Superbowl is here in town and getting ready to play first Sunday in February, a matter of fact this Sunday coming up. Ummm what else my son is now from crib to toddler not in his own room, but hey at least he's in his own bed and it's been a week going on two this Sunday. We also put a pillow for him to sleep with in his bed. He's also saying more words such as Chase from paw partol, and now chicken along with others. And to finish it off we have also been going to story time at our local bookstore which has been great for him.

Like I said it's been a wonderful first month of 2017. Stay tuned to find out what went on in month number 2 and let give you hint it as to involve Valentine's day and another loved one birthday!

Learning something new each day

Learning something new each day in our household is a habit since our son was born. It could have been from finding his hands, toes, to learning how to crawl, walk, talk, and much more. Or it could also be us learning how to be a parent, learning as we go and learning as a team.  It's a process each and everyday with us teaching him or him teaching us but is something new, different, stressful, emotional, and fun.
As I stay at home with him I planned and it all started at a young age is to teach him as much as I can, and as he get older he starts to show interest and excitement as he's ready to learn and when he's done for the day or that moment we wait till later or a new day. Now that he's two years old he has picked up something new each passing day such as his numbers, a few colors, a few letters, and even talking a lot more now.
With that being said I love how there are many fun ways for him to learn and for me to teach him where it does not have to be boring.

Here is an example we are working with numbers I got many ideas from online, pinterest, shop at the dollar tree, hobby lobby, the dollar section at target, and etsy.
Now let me share with you my many ideas to making and learning numbers fun. I have many ways for him to learn his numbers as he knows 1 to 10 and backwards, and I won't let him forget nor stop. But will change it up and I can with all these options so the number won't be forgotten. And with all these fun products my favorite is the chalkboard I got from Chalk full of design.

Chalk full of design is own by a mommy and is a small shop that can be find on etsy. She(Lindsey) offer fun traceable chalkboard for your little ones and so much more. These traceable chalkboards are offer in numbers, letters, shapes, and can be personalize to whatever you like. As well as if you have a child working on cursive not to worry she offers cursive chalkboard as well. Since receiving the chalkboard I have not only enjoyed this product, but my son has enjoyed it as well. The chalkboards are well made, so easy to write on and easy to wipe, carry around, move it to one place to another, and it is so light weight. My son has got the hang of using the chalk on his chalkboard, and with the help of mommy he's got the hang of tracing his numbers. Plus side as a two year old is that it is so easy to move around and can for sure grow with him for a very long time.

So glad I got this for him at such an early age, and to teach him his traceable as offen as I can espcailly once it gets closer to go to kindergarten we will work on it and refresh his memory all thanks to Chalk full of design.

If you are interest in getting your child a chalkboard or a personalized one or just to check out her other products. Here is her information:

First Month of the Year/Resolutions/Goals

Hello all! We are in the new year and I'm wondering how is it going for you! Did you set any new goals? What about a New Years resolutions?

Well I on the other hand don't have any New Years resolutions I however did set up a goal for me and that was to make time to get my workout on and do the weight lost again. See lately I haven't been happy with myself to the point I joke about it and laugh about it, but deep inside I'm just not happy nor comfortable. I have had my weight lost go up and down   and I truly wish it stay down and not go back up(wishful thinking)! So here we are almost the middle of the month and I have found time to work out or I have made time. It has come to either I workout when my husband leaves to work and my son is asleep, while my son is taking a nap, or while he's awake and do an extra workout by getting him out my way...lol, either way I take it and will do it even if it's double the work! It also have come to me that I have the time since I am a stay at home mommy and wife I have all the time it was just finding and making the time...and proud to say which I have!!

So stay tuned to read about result and how I'm doing!

New Year, New Name

As I sit here I have been thinking a lot and even more so now that we have our own house and made a year in September. Things sure have change from a one bedroom apartment to a three bedroom house with a lot of space from outside to inside. And as a stay at home wife and mommy doing things like care for my husband, son, cook, wash, cook, other things, and clean!! Yes clean! And let me tell you cleaning was easy when it was a one bedroom apartment and the two of us, now a three bedroom house and the three of us can be crazy, will get crazy, and as much as I try to clean it will NEVER stay that way even if I TRY or have the help from my husband. Let me admit it does stay clean when we have a gathering or parties of some kind but that's just for a little while. Yes, maybe just maybe I wish my house would stay clean just for a little while longer and not only for parties, but truth be told I do clean and at least I do clean...but I love the mess a little well when there are not death traps or something not trying to trip my husband and I. I love the toys, and I love love that I have a little guy who a long with us his mommy and daddy are enjoying the memories with him and making memories  for him. As well as us has parents our making memories together, and plus it could give us something to talk about in one of those late night conversation while our son is asleep on how we enjoyed ourselves, did you hear that little laughter, did see this, how we laugh as well, and so much more!

With that being said let me welcome you to the new year as well as to my new name
A messy house with memories because it's our house, my house, I do clean and will clean but at the end before bedtime I sometime not always clean up or pick up after him or us. And you know what I will be OK with that because at the end of everything that mess was involve with a memory that was made by us or by my little guy who is only little once and I will one day miss these toys and all us playing or him playing, or how I didn't wash the dishes before bed, or didn't pick up the clothes from that day!

So sit back take this journey with me on my blog as a welcome you again!
