Learning something new each day in our household is a habit since our son was born. It could have been from finding his hands, toes, to learning how to crawl, walk, talk, and much more. Or it could also be us learning how to be a parent, learning as we go and learning as a team. It's a process each and everyday with us teaching him or him teaching us but is something new, different, stressful, emotional, and fun.
As I stay at home with him I planned and it all started at a young age is to teach him as much as I can, and as he get older he starts to show interest and excitement as he's ready to learn and when he's done for the day or that moment we wait till later or a new day. Now that he's two years old he has picked up something new each passing day such as his numbers, a few colors, a few letters, and even talking a lot more now.
With that being said I love how there are many fun ways for him to learn and for me to teach him where it does not have to be boring.
Here is an example we are working with numbers I got many ideas from online, pinterest, shop at the dollar tree, hobby lobby, the dollar section at target, and etsy.
Now let me share with you my many ideas to making and learning numbers fun. I have many ways for him to learn his numbers as he knows 1 to 10 and backwards, and I won't let him forget nor stop. But will change it up and I can with all these options so the number won't be forgotten. And with all these fun products my favorite is the chalkboard I got from Chalk full of design.
Chalk full of design is own by a mommy and is a small shop that can be find on etsy. She(Lindsey) offer fun traceable chalkboard for your little ones and so much more. These traceable chalkboards are offer in numbers, letters, shapes, and can be personalize to whatever you like. As well as if you have a child working on cursive not to worry she offers cursive chalkboard as well. Since receiving the chalkboard I have not only enjoyed this product, but my son has enjoyed it as well. The chalkboards are well made, so easy to write on and easy to wipe, carry around, move it to one place to another, and it is so light weight. My son has got the hang of using the chalk on his chalkboard, and with the help of mommy he's got the hang of tracing his numbers. Plus side as a two year old is that it is so easy to move around and can for sure grow with him for a very long time.
So glad I got this for him at such an early age, and to teach him his traceable as offen as I can espcailly once it gets closer to go to kindergarten we will work on it and refresh his memory all thanks to Chalk full of design.

I homeschool my kids and I love the ideas you shared. Children learn best by doing and the chalkboard idea is awesome for helping them really grasp the concept of numbers and counting. Love it!
