Birthday kickoff day 2

More rain today and mommy had to make an unexpected trip to the doctor due to an ear pain again. Since it was unexpected the birthday boy went with me, and he was totally fine until he saw the doctor(which I think he thought we were there for him, but we were not). Once our doctor visit was over we came home and enjoyed, be lazy, and made a mess with toys everywhere. I know things are not going as plan but hey as well long as he has a smile on his is totally worth it.

Birthday week kickoff for my son

It's my son first birthday week! We will be celebrating all week leading up to Saturday for his birthday with just the three of us, and Sunday for his birthday party with loved ones.....we are going be some party animals this week and the weekend. Find out what's in store for our son...stay tuned!

Today we were going to kick off a mommy and me play date, do go do some pottery. But rain came and my son decided not to take his morning nap, instead took it before we were suppose leave.

So we stay and just be lazy! Find out if we do anything tomorrow or will be another day in being lazy and playing around. We shall see...stay tuned!!!!

I would like to add before the day ends is that my son now said his first word and it was Dada!! Daddy has a big oh smile on his face...priceless!!

Summer Bucket List

Summer is ending and school is about to start! Many people have bucket list or create bucket list for themselves or for the family....

With that being said were you able to make a bucket list for the summer for yourselves or your family? If so where you able to check some stuff off now that summer is ending, please share your summer Bucket List with us.

This summer was a first summer for our son, and with our son. So you can imagine what my family bucket list included many first that is...

We had other things on the list but due to this crazy heat, it just to hot to go out there and do much. But summer hasn't ended just yet, and I'm hoping to do a little more before it does, so stay tuned!!!

House Shopping

We are in the process for the last month house shopping, even longer! We had saved and saved money, been going to realtor after until my husband called one realtor and he was the right fit. Well it came that time our lease is almost up, and we called to talk to a loan officer and realize that he and our realtor knew we are serious and ready to get a house. See our plan was to moved out and have a house before we had a baby, well plans didn't work that way and was blessed with a baby sooner.

Now here we are...lease almost up, one bedroom is small for the three of us, and parking is a pain coming home, but we made it work for the first year with our son and now he's almost one and getting bigger and getting more things...lol. Last year we were supposed to moved out, but by the time our son was born our lease was up and there was no way I wanted to packed with a newborn and recovering from a c-section and moved all at the same time and we didn't and so happy we didn't moved.

Finally House Shopping has been going on for the last month on weekends and sometimes weekdays with meeting my husband and realtor during lunchtime. I pick out houses show my husband since we got the same style, and Saturday August 1st we met our realtor and went on a tour of the houses I had picked out. We looked at the first one fell love with it and than on to the other houses but as we looked at the other houses we couldn't take our mind off the first one!!!!

So before we went our separate ways to start the weekend off we went ahead and told our realtor to place a offer and hope she takes....well stay tuned!!

Welcome to the new blog name!

Hello everyone! I was behind the Tradition Hispanic Wife but now I have a new name and here is why:

It's almost been a year since becoming a first time mommy and why not celebrate by changing my blog name to

Adventures as a Wife and Mommy

I hope you enjoy my adventures, since going to wife and mommy it has been one adventure after another...and you know what I would not have it any other way.

My big blessing was becoming a wife almost 7 years ago, and even bigger blessing was becoming a mommy a boy mom at that almost year ago. I thought being a wife was an adventure but being a mommy is even a greater adventure, with a few things in common it has it ups and downs, lot of happiness, and of course makes you want to go crazy...lol, but hey I love this adventure of being a wife and a mommy.

Hope you come and join me and my family on our adventures, and here is to many more!! ENJOY!
