On Sunday was our Second Annual Pumpkin Carving

Sunday was our second annual pumpkin carving. This time was different as I did one, our son didn't fall asleep, he's a lot bigger, and it was our first in our new house and to many more. Boy did we enjoyed it working on our pumpkins and we had fun. Our on the other hand was to busy eating cookies and every once in awhile he would show interest on what we were doing. Once we were done we put our led battery candles that change colors inside the pumpkin and head outside. Proud of our work and of course love the color change. We put them on our patio because we are expecting rain this week, but they will be in the front for next week.

Who are you?

Losing yourself after baby

It's been a year since having a baby and I feel like a lost myself and who I am. I know I am a mommy and wife which I love being those and I'm truly blessed to be a wife and mommy, but at times I get down because I want to find me again. I know beside those two deep down inside there is one more person who wants to come out and that is myself. Once I became a wife it was time to take care of my husband and than myself, than now that I'm mommy it's my son needs, husband needs and whatever my needs after that. There are times I wake up get dress and not feeling it but thankful I'm here. I'm not looking the way I look, my me time is doing blogging or crafts but I know can do more when I find time. When I'm doing that you can catch me taking care of my family, and at times I just want to go to sleep because I'm so tired and start my day the same old thing all over again.

My husband doesn't take me out on date nights which I told him let's at least do it once a month. We have babysitter who always offer but he doesn't want to leave our son behind. I just feel like a mommy more than a wife, and I hope soon myself and my wife side will start coming out sooner than later. I have reach out and talk to my husband and I'm hoping he will listen to me and let's do wife and husband things, as well as mommy and daddy things.

Don't get my wrong I love that I'm a mommy and wife, but at times I'm just a mommy and not only myself wants to come out as well as the wife side too!!!

Please help as I'm reaching out for tips and tricks...Where you lost when you became a wife and mommy or one or the other? How did you find me time? Did you ever find yourself?

I love what I do, but I know I will find myself again.

Hello October

 I was and still is excited about fall being here but here we are the first of October and I can't seen to hold in my excitement. This morning on the first of October we actually had fall weather here in Texas and it will continue this weekend as well, I'm so looking forward to opening our windows while driving around and here in our home.

Now that we are in October I'm excited for all the fall festivals that are coming up and a matter of fact we have one closed to our home Saturday and it's free to get in so we may go check it out. Also next week my son and I have a free play date to attend, and I'm hoping it will give us a chance to meet other parents who have a child(ren) around my son age so we can have future play dates. Another thing on my list to do this month is go to a pumpkin patch and have fun. If we are not able to make it to a pumpkin patch which will be our first time going, at least make sure we get our pumpkin from the store. Our tradition last year and it was our first and continue it now that we are in our new home is pumpkin carving, and this year we will each have our own pumpkin. I also want to decorate our home not to much from the inside to the outside and I am excited about that and believe in diy projects as well saving money...hopefully soon I will have more diy posted up.

Beside all the fun going on in October I'm also looking forward to Halloween and taking my son around our new neighborhood and going to get his costume as last year he was only a month old and tiny. Now he will be 13 months and will be able to eat candy and hopefully walking with me, we shall see!

I also want to say October is also national Breast Cancer Month!! Help a life, save a life, remember a life, and fight!
