Hello Football Season plus 2 recipes

Hello Football!!

It's game day, football season and my household couldn't be more excited. We love this time of the year because we love to get together with our friends and family for some fun, talking mess(as we are cowboys fans, and they are texans fans), cheering, high fives, laughter, good food and dessert, and of course lots of memories being made, oh yeah and kids running around having fun.

Today is the first game of the season and nothing big plan, just staying home I'm making burgers for dinner and we have chips and dips for us as well. In the meantime we wait until our team plays which is tonight against the gaints.

Two of my favorite dips I love during football season especially is spinach dip and ranch dip.

Spinach dip recipe
1 pack of Korr Vegetable Mix
Frozen/thew out spinach or fresh
One cup of mayo
One 16 Oz sour cream
A can of water chestnuts chopped

Hehehe I can't take all the credit the recipe is in back on the Korr Vegetable Mix just in case.

And of course get a pack of hidden Valley Ranch dip and a sour cream, and if you have yourself your ranch dip once you mix it in a bowl together. I serve my ranch dip with ruffles. Than the spinach dip I put it in a Hawaiian bread the bowl shape one, just make a bowl in it and use the pieces to eat with the dip or crackers of your choice.

Now I share two recipes that I love, and how we love football season.

How about you share your recipes with me? Do you love football, if so what is your favorite team?

Lauren

P.S. Keep an look out for pictures during football season in a later posted! Stay tuned....

Diy photo letter

I got this diy project from pinterest...thanks pinterest. Well I thought I put in my own hands and give it a try, and so I did. Go to your local crafts store, I went to hobby lobby grab a letter. I was able to get it on sale for 50% off photo studio brand from 9.99. Mod podge gloss for 4.99 but I used a 40% coupon on that item, and of course some print brushes I got a pack of sponge ones for under 1.99. Also need pictures, I printed about 50 and used a coupon at walgreens and only paid about 5.40 for all them, and of course I got extra left over which is better safe than sorry. Out of all the pictures I put a few favorite to glue on the letter, once pictures are applied put a coat of mod podge on top of the pictures.

To my son on your first birthday

To my son the birthday boy,

Where as the time gone?? I have ask myself that each and everyday as I see you grow.

A year old ago today you came into the world, and you not only made my heart complete but your daddy also. You have bought so much joy into our lives, and to everyone that has come around you. Since becoming your mommy, and being able to stay at home with you has bought so much joy into my heart and my world. There can be days where it's not easy, and some that go smooth but as I look at you  I would not have it any other way.

Your personality, your smile, your laughter, and the many faces you make, makes the day all worth it. I along with your daddy will be thankful to God for blessing us with you, and for every chance we get with you because you our son are the greatest gift your daddy and I could ever receive.  We will forever be truly thankful for you! Your daddy and I had a journey to get you here and it was so worth it.

We had a misscrriage, than being told I was not able to have kids, to having a c section because your life and mines was at risk! Now we are here both healthy and everyday I look at you, and see that scar to get you here was so worth it and I would do it again in a heart beat.

We are first time parents and within the one year of your life you have taught us so much and here is to so much more!

I hope today you have the best 1st birthday ever!! We truly pray to God he will bless you with many more, and allow us to be with you and watch you grow. Each passing day is a gift with you, and seeing you learn and do new things is bring so much joy into our hearts and we could not be more prouder of you!

It's been a year and you did great and you will continue to do great, and you will continue to make us proud!!

We love you our son always and forever!!

Happy 1st birthday our handsome!!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy

Birthday kickoff day 3 and 4

Day 3: On phone with the doctor to get some meds over the phone for my ear pain, not being able to sleep for last three nights. Needed to go to walgreens to pick on meds, and the whole time my little one was so good. Not how I wanted to spend his birthday week, but will make it up to him.

Day 4: Mommy is feeling a bit better and hope the meds continue to work because sleepless nights is not happen anymore. I'm still making it fun for my son doing something or not, home or not I will still make the most of it for him. Luckily tomorrow is Friday and daddy is off and we can really get the party started!

Stay tuned to see what's in store for us for Day 5!!!

Lauren
