We are now in August
Hello August and the month we have been waiting for...
This month hopefully my husband and I will be welcoming our first child a boy at that to our family, and we couldn't be happier! My doctor appointments are now every Fridays and hopefully tomorrow we get some news that the labor process has started, but we shall see tomorrow. In the meantime I'm starting to think I can't do it and my biggest fear is having a c - section, but I know with my husband, and my great support system behind me and with God by my side I know I can and will do it and I will have a normal birth which I have faith I will have it that way....no going to doubt it!!
No matter what I have faith and will not let nothing bring me down including myself because I know I can do it and will do it, and at the end everything will be Worth it and just Fine!
Another updated coming soon!
By the way how did you feel about giving birth? Did you think you couldn't do it? Please share!
Thanks,
Lauren

Baby updated
Doctor appointment went well on Friday and of course baby boy had a strong heart beat as always. As for me, I'm starting to feel very light contractions and I'm thinking he will come early than his due date which is August 30..beside that I'm doing great and hanging in there along with my husband and just waiting on the day he decide to come into the world, and we are truly excited! As of today I'm 34 weeks and 2 days!!
Until next time!!

Crafty idea: Thanks to pinterest
This pass weekend we had our baby shower and during the planning stages pinterest was my best friend. I would get ideas and put my touch or add a twist to it to make it our own.
Here is an idea I got from pinterest
Instead of using a guest book, or creating one for the guests...we got story books for him, and had our guest write a message or say hi! The books will last a lifetime with the messages, and it got his book collection started as well!
Need ideas or help with planning a party of any kind, baby shower, or a even a wedding, or even other things..don't hesitate go to pinterest it will help you with the planning or even the crafty side. If you never used pinterest or don't know what it is, please go to pinterest.com and take a look at it..you will get hooked the moment you look, so be ready!!!
Have you use pinterest for anything in your life, please share!

A crafty idea for a daddy to be
Thanks to pinterest I got the idea of a daddy's survival kit for my husband, and got some of his favorite snacks and put a meaning for each one. This pass weekend was our baby shower, and I surprised him with a gift from..here you go:
Babe,
Coke: To help keep you awake until I'm ready to pop.
Seeds: For the seeds of knowledge and wisdom you'll sow
Snickers: To remind you to laugh when you feel like crying.
Starbursts: For that extra boost of energy.
Tissue: To wipe away all the tears . . . yours, mine and our baby boy’s
Advil: For when all fails...take two!
Crown: To celebrate the new addition to our family, and you deserve it after everything!
You are going to be an amazing dad, and I can't wait to start this new chapter with you.
I love you and will always love you!
Love,
Your wife
Lauren
