Popsicle Koozies

Has got to be the best thing I have order for my son or they have came out with, thanks to a lady who makes these.

Popsicle koozies for the freeze and go popsicle. All I have to say is where was these growing up, because I remember wrapping a towel around them when our hands would get cold. Now my son won't have to worry about his hands getting cold, nor I don't have to hold it while my hands get cold or wrap a paper towel around them like I been doing.

Here is a picture of what I order for my son and the best part is she can do any theme and fits on all the freeze to go Popsicle.

Her name is Annie and her Facebook information is https://www.facebook.com/hartandsoulboutique/

She also makes another things as well and you can meet for pick up or for few dollars she can ship to you. Her prices are great and love she came up with the Popsicle Koozies because her kids hands were cold. When I met her to pick up my order I asked where was this at when I was growing up because I hate having my hands cold and paper towels would go to waste....well not no more and these are lifesavers.

Go check out her Facebook page and put in your order for your kids or even yourself as these are the best.

A Toddler pinterest project with a twist

This pinterest project was a mommy project but at the end it was fun for my toddler. I turn a little side table into a lego table for my son. It took some time, but the result came out great. Whole project cost under 30 why so high you may ask let me break it down for you

Table: Garage Sale online got it for 4.00

Grey Spray Paint: 3.68 at Walmart
( 2 cans)

Heavy glue which I had from a previous project

Lego mat (18.99) most expensive item but had a coupon( coupons are great)

Once getting all your items you choose to paint your table or leave as is. The table I got was a little mess up but paint cover it easy.

For me it took two cans and I took my time as this little project took me two weeks. I painted a little at a time when I had time, and of course when the rain stop.

Once completely dry(remember you put however many coats you want on your table until you get the color you want). I got grey so I wanted it a little dark. I left it overnight or two to make sure it was completely dry. Grab my lego mat and the glue and glue it down in the center. Once glue of course you had to it let it dry, but in my case my toddler was ready to use his new LEGO table!

A toddler pinterest project Pass with mommy help! So excited and can't wait to see this table grow with my son.

Here are the pictures of the table before and after:

As you can tell from the next pictures this was Pass, because my toddler is enjoying his Lego table.

Stay tuned for the next Toddler Pinterest project!

A Toddler Pinterest Project, was it A Pass or a Fail?

Another Pinterest project my toddler and I put to the test and it was a Pass in his eyes and so fun.

So what was the project you might ask, well let me tell you.

First is Materials
Shower Curtain Liner(dollar tree for a 1)
Paint
Paint brushes
Water hose nearby

Now that you have your materials gather them outside along with wipes to wipe our hands. Lay your shower curtain liner which is your canvas on the grass, pour your paint, and put other materials you want to paint with such as paint brush or just used your fingers. I got my son ready, he had no clothes on because after I took him inside for bath. But once done with painting, I wipe down my son where he had paint at, grab the water hose and rinse off the shower curtain so we could use it again.

Note while having the water on, you could let you child have fun by letting them get clean off while playing with the water, also another idea is blow up your toddler pool so they could have fun in the pool.

After putting this Pinterest project to the test it was not only pass by my toddler but mommy had fun and love how it was easy to clean up afterwards, and that is always a plus.

Here are a few pictures

This picture was after the rinse, clean as a kite!

Now that you see we had another pass, stay tuned to see what the next one will be a pass or a fail. Also for some recipes and dessert that will be either an approval or not by my family.

Stay tuned!

To my sweet boy on my second mother's day

My sweet baby boy,

I thank God everyday I get with you, for blessing me with you, and for giving me the title as your mommy. Each passing day I get with you is the greatest gift, and I will cherish every moment I have with you. You know there can be rough days but your laughter and than that smile easily takes the rough days away, and makes everything and everyday I have with you so worth it.

Thank you God for allowing me to show someone so little so much love my heart as a mommy have to offer. As well as for blessing me with a second mother's day with this little guy I'm proud to call mines, and I pray I see many more with him!

Forever my baby you will be! I love you than, love you now and will love you forever!

Love always!

Your Mommy,

Lauren

P.S. Happy mother's day to all the mommies out there! Also stay tuned for pictures.

Goodbye April, Hello May

April came and gone and now it's a new month. April was my 30th birthday, and we celebrated my grandma's birthday as well, but of course we didn't do any celebrating as we lost my uncle unexpectedly around our birthdays. After being emotional and a rough three weeks in and out of the hospital visiting my uncle, losing him, than his viewing on my birthday and the day after his burial service I was not in the mood to celebrate. Losing my uncle has been hard as him and I were close and had a bond like no other. You know it may be a new month, but he won't be forgotten as I still think this is all a nightmare and I'm waiting to wake up.

So here we are a new month hoping for a little better month than April. We kicked off May by doing our first walk as a family, and it was the Lupus Walk 2016 in memory of our friend Reylen who lost her battle to lupus in September of 2015. Her family, friends, and us got together wear shirts in her honor as well as some walked holding a banner with her pictures and information. It was a 5k(3 miles) and we did it and couldn't be prouder especially it being my second one, and my husband and son( he was in the stroller getting push by me) first 5k and here is and hoping for many more.

Now here is to a better month and let's see what's in store for us! Stay tuned!

Lauren
