Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016

As 2015 is coming to an end we had our lows and our highs...Our highs...our baby boy turn 1 years old, and we brought a house. Our lows was one only, and that was one of our closest friend Reylen became an angel this year, and she is truly missed and talked about. Tonight was a great one as I got to visit, laugh, and talk about her with her daughter/my niece Asia.

Can't complain about anything nor question anything as everything happens for a reason. I will say goodbye to 2015 and Hello 2016, excited to see what's in store for us. Blessed and truly thankful!!

Christmas Recap

First of all I would like to say hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Here is my christmas recap

Christmas Eve we were those people at the stores at the last minute trying to get two more gifts to take to my in laws, which didn't take to long...thank god. Once back home we got ready head to my in laws and enjoy the evening with them. We ate, and ate some more..lol. We also visit the neighbor as well. We opened gifts a little before midnight as we wanted to come home a bit early to do a new tradition for us.  So we came home set out cookies for Santa, set up my son's gifts that we got him and we to bed.
Christmas day we got up, saw santa stop by, opened more gifts. My grandma, mom and her husband came by for lunch, and we opened more gifts. My husband made lunch for us and on the menu was steaks, baked potatos, shrimp cocktail, side salad, and some very delicious dessert...everything from my in laws to our home was yummy.

It was our first Christmas in our new home and the memories that were made here at our home, my in laws, and the neighbor home was priceless. As well as for it being my son's second christmas it was a memorable one, and it was truly a blessed one!

Now that Christmas is over we took down our decorations over the weekend so my son could have more room. Until next year it's been an awesome one!

Sangria Recipe

I saw recipes for Sangria and I decide to take a chance and put fruit together and try my own, boy it came out oh so good.

Here is the recipe

2 to 4 bottles just make sure you are stock up so won't have to run to the store

A bag of frozen mix fruit...we got the one with pineapples, strawberries, grapes, melon, and peaches

A bag of frozen raspberries

1 fresh slice orange

1 fresh slice lime

1 litter of 7 up, which we will always you half per two bottles

Use however much fruit you want in the Sangria, we use half the bag for every two bottles.

We let it sit, the flavors can come together than grab your glass with a bit a ice pour and scoop some fruit out if you like..and CHEERS!!
